One More Post For Now

I know I don't blog anymore, but this is worth the crying and yelling and too- tiredness I am experiencing as of late:

And I'm supposed to say why I'm Pro-Choice;  I think the more appropriate question is Why Isn't Everyone?

I never understood why so many in this country think it's okay for someone other than myself to make decisions about what I do to my body.  Seriously...how is that even close to being sane?  It's not the issue of whether it's okay to have an abortion (that's a totally different thing to me); it's about standard human rights.  GOD - it's so obvious, isn't it?!?!

And who the fuck cares (je m'excuse) whether someone gets an abortion?  I'm getting so SICK of how religion runs everything in our country.  I think I'll go puke now.

So it's the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade.  Sad that there was even a law that had to be turned around, huh?  Stupid ass religous fanatical bible loving lawmakers.

NOT BLOGGING MUCH...

like it doesn't cross my mind much anymore.  Am I done with this?  I'd better decide because I'm paying $9 month to use this service...(do I sound like my hubby or what?)

And onto more exciting news:  Last weekend Hubby and I went away for his birthday.  We had nearly 4 days at the Fairmont Empress in Victoria, BC.  We did this last year, but we were sans filles - no kids - this time. 

We did all sorts of non-kid things; went out to eat a billion times.  Went to clubs, went shopping, went to 2 movies.  A museum.  It was fun and just like old times except for one thing...we missed the kids.  By Sunday night I was missing the kids terribly.  Everytime I saw someone or something that reminded me of my boys I got choked up.  I'm such a wuss.

And the kids did really well with Grandma C and her friend Lynn.  They were well behaved and ate and went to bed on time. 

We needed this trip, too.  And the kids needed to miss us a little, too.  It was time.  Now we're happy and giddy and appreciative of eachother again.  The whole family.

YEAH, I'M BACK

So I did I tell you how our credit card number was stolen?  I know - just know - it was that punk-ass kid at 31 Flavors.  PUNK.  Yeah, well, this blogging service didn't like that and suspended my blogging privileges until now.

And, of course, the Visa company sent us 5 new credit cards.  Yeah- some security there, hah?   We have to change all our electronic bill paying crap, too because we use the Visa to pay everything.  We get air miles for every dollar spent, so of course we do it this way.

Alright -  That's all for now.  Just wanted to let you all know we're still here.  Had an okay Xmas, okay New Years Eve, but we're glad to get into a new year.
